Qualifications

Job description

The Civil Engineering Project Manager (P.E.) is responsible for leading and managing civil engineering land-development projects from planning and design through permitting and construction.

The position focuses primarily on commercial and residential site development in the Central Florida area. The Project Manager will coordinate engineering teams, clients, contractors, architects, surveyors, and government agencies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Managing civil engineering projects, schedules, budgets, and resources
• Leading and supervising engineering staff and delegating work
• Designing and reviewing grading, drainage, paving, water, sewer, and utility systems
• Preparing and reviewing construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Managing permitting and regulatory approvals
• Coordinating with municipalities, counties, and other governmental agencies
• Performing risk assessments and resolving project issues
• Working with clients, contractors, architects, surveyors, and subconsultants
• Supporting construction administration, observation, and certification
• Preparing technical reports, feasibility studies, and other project documentation
