Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking a Civil Engineer (P.E.) to lead our Design Services team on land development and power grid resiliency projects in the Mid-Atlantic region, with active involvement in commercial, industrial, solar, and mining developments. The role requires strong leadership and expertise across disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold a P.E. license or are pursuing an EIT, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and HydroCAD, and experience in PA, WV, OH, and MD jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in erosion and sediment control design, and post construction stormwater design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and HydroCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead our current staff on the development of designs and plans related to site layout & grading.
• Ensure erosion and sediment control design compliance across projects.
• Prepare NPDES permit applications and land development applications in line with regulations.
• Oversee zoning compliance and coordinate with multiple state jurisdictions.
