Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Mobile, Alabama office to perform civil design and project management for regional projects. Duties include site layouts, grading, hydraulic modeling, pump and lift stations, and utility design, with federal contracting experience considered an asset.

The role involves supporting senior staff on civil design and permitting for municipal clients, including design review and meeting contract requirements. Some travel can be expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of civil engineering experience.
• BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification is required or anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Support senior staff on civil design and permitting for municipal projects, including lift stations and utility transmission.
• Assist with design review for contractor packages (site plans, utilities, stormwater, parking, etc.).
• Support planning, design, and permitting to meet contracts, drawings, and codes; some travel may be required.
