Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer to be based in Mobile, Alabama. The role involves civil design and project management across municipal projects, including lift stations and utility design, with travel to regional offices and client sites as workload requires.

The candidate will support senior staff, conduct site layouts, grading, hydraulic modeling, and ensure compliance with contracts and codes while working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ years of experience in civil engineering.
• BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support senior staff on civil design and permitting for municipal projects including lift stations and utility design.
• Assist with design reviews for site plans, utilities, stormwater, and subdivisions.
• Support planning, design, and permitting processes to ensure compliance with contracts and specifications.
• Some travel may be required.
