Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Civil Engineer to support the Water sector, based in Baton Rouge or Metairie, LA. This position involves guiding a design team from concept through detailed designs and construction specifications for municipal drainage and water/wastewater infrastructure.

The role emphasizes hydraulic design, project layout, and cross-disciplinary coordination, with responsibilities including reports, drawings, and cost estimates.

Qualifications

• 10 years or more of relevant experience.
• BS degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE License in Louisiana.

Responsibilities

• Lead a design team in the preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings and contract specifications.
• Oversee construction quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, regional and municipal guidelines.
• Coordinate with clients to identify needs and develop solutions.
