Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Downtown Dallas, Texas office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join their Land Development team. This is not a remote position.

You will perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects, coordinate with clients, manage budgets and schedules, and help prepare bid packages and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Familiar with coordinating with clients and overseeing quality standards.
• Ability to build plan sets and construction documents.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Coordinate with clients, jurisdictions, and contractors.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Prepare bid packages and technical specifications; assist with permitting and land disturbance.
• Develop plan sets and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
