Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in New York is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4 to 8 years of experience who is passionate about land development and eager to advance your career. You will mentor junior engineers, lead site and public works design for commercial and industrial projects, coordinate with clients and officials, and drive projects from concept through construction.

Collaborate with a Principal Engineer, oversee day-to-day activities, and contribute to a team that values hands-on problem

Qualifications

• 4–8 years civil engineering experience.
• Experience in land development preferred.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the efforts of others as you mentor less experienced engineers.
• Design site and public works components for commercial and industrial projects, including site design, grading, utilities, erosion control and stormwater management.
• See projects from start to finish and manage them through design and construction.
• Collaborate with the Principal Engineer, overseeing day-to-day activities throughout the design and construction process.
• Communicate with clients, city/public officials and project stakeholders.
• Participate in team activities and events such as food cart Fridays, ski trips, chili cook-offs, running groups and golf tournaments.
