Job summary

We are partnering with a growing civil engineering firm in New York to add engineers and project engineers to the team. The role focuses on land development and site civil designs, working on commercial, mixed-use, and residential projects.

You will manage a team of engineers, perform hydrology work, and coordinate with municipalities for permits, while contributing to design, permitting and construction phases onsite or at local sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Experience in engineering planning and design is essential.
• Experience with stormwater, grading and drainage, site planning and zoning research is preferred.
• Proficiency in lighting design is a plus.
• PE license is a plus; driving license and vehicle are required.
• This onsite role involves local travel to sites daily.

Responsibilities

• Manage, assist and support a team of engineers.
• Assist with site development designs for subdivision, commercial, mixed-use and residential projects.
• Provide engineering support during design, permitting, development, and construction.
• Coordinate with municipalities for permits.
• Prepare hydrology and earthwork evaluations.
• Prepare engineering reports.
