Job summary

Dewberry seeks a Site / Civil Senior Engineer for its Land Development practice in the Lanham, MD office. The role focuses on leading land development design from concept to completion, with responsibilities across plan, permit processing and construction phase services.

Required eight+ years of site/civil experience, Maryland PE, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office. The candidate will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver projects on

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering or proven equal experience.
• Eight (8) years of experience in Land Development design and execution; ten+ years preferred.
• Maryland PE license is required.
• Strong technical capabilities in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop construction plans for site civil/infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with Senior Project Manager and agency staff.
• Prepare and coordinate reports, exhibits and construction plans.
• Perform engineering analyses and cost estimates.
• Provide quality control/QA to ensure a high-quality design.
• Train junior engineers in CAD, calculations, and general design; participate in trainings.
• Attend industry task force meetings as technical lead.
