This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys multidisciplinary projects, developing practical design solutions, and contributing throughout the full lifecycle from concept through construction. Collaboration and strong technical writing are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience supporting site development, infrastructure, utility, industrial, or EPC projects.
• EIT certification required or ability to obtain.
• Progress toward Professional Engineer licensure preferred.
• Experience with site development design, grading and drainage design, stormwater management, and utility design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop civil engineering designs for industrial, utility, infrastructure, and commercial projects.
• Prepare site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, utility layouts, and erosion control plans.
• Perform earthwork, drainage, stormwater, hydrology, and utility calculations.
• Develop construction drawings, technical specifications, engineering reports, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental, and project engineering teams.
• Assist with permitting activities and regulatory documentation.
• Provide construction support, including reviewing submittals, RFIs, and field changes.
• Travel periodically for site visits and project support.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working on multidisciplinary projects, developing practical design solutions, and contributing throughout the full project lifecycle from concept through construction. The successful candidate will have experience in civil site design, strong technical capabilities, and a collaborative approach to project delivery.

What You'll Do

• Develop civil engineering designs for industrial, utility, infrastructure, and commercial projects.
• Prepare site layouts, grading plans, drainage systems, utility layouts, and erosion control plans.
• Perform engineering calculations related to earthwork, drainage, stormwater management, hydrology, and utility infrastructure.
• Develop construction drawings, technical specifications, engineering reports, and project documentation.
• Support site development efforts, including grading, paving, drainage, and utility design.
• Review project requirements, engineering standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and support project budgeting and estimating activities.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, environmental, and project engineering teams.
• Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and multidisciplinary coordination efforts.
• Review survey information, geotechnical reports, and other technical documents to support design development.
• Assist with permitting activities and preparation of regulatory documentation.
• Evaluate site constraints and develop practical, cost-effective engineering solutions.
• Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing submittals, RFIs, and field changes.
• Conduct site visits and field assessments as needed.
• Support project closeout activities, documentation reviews, and as-built record development.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of civil engineering experience supporting site development, infrastructure, utility, industrial, or EPC projects.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required or ability to obtain.
• Progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
• Experience with:
• Site development design
• Grading and drainage design
• Stormwater management
• Utility design
• Civil engineering calculations and reporting
• Working knowledge of applicable engineering codes, standards, and permitting requirements.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic modeling tools is a plus.
• Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel periodically for site visits and project support activities.
