Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a civil engineer to develop and coordinate foundations and site interfaces for power plant construction projects. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure alignment with design intent and project requirements.

Responsibilities include reviewing 3D foundation models, supporting quality and compliance, and performing site visits as needed. Travel may be required to support project execution across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering with focus on industrial facilities.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience for industrial facilities.
• Familiarity with USA codes such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC standards.
• Experience with steel materials across multiple regions (Americas, Europe, Asia).

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate foundation and site interface deliverables for power plant projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers to resolve interface issues.
• Support quality and compliance efforts; perform site visits or vendor engagements as needed.
• Review and manage foundation interface 3D models and drawings.
• Provide engineering assistance to plant construction; travel as required.
