Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Civil/Municipal Engineer for a local firm in Northeast Iowa. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on municipal and civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction.

The Civil Engineer will collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams to deliver practical, high-quality engineering solutions while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Municipal, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Experience in the civil engineering field preferred.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar design software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design, and development for municipal and civil engineering projects.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, reports, and other project documentation.
• Oversee construction projects to ensure work is completed according to project requirements.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate project records while managing schedules and deadlines.
