Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer Assistant Project Manager in Austin, TX. You will work with project teams to create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and residential clients, from concept through regulatory review and construction.

You will design site layouts, grading plans, storm water facilities, and utilities, while coordinating with clients, contractors, and local officials to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required (MS a plus)
• 6+ years of professional engineering experience
• EIT/FE certification; P.E. licensure a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Ability to speak and write professionally
• Experience and knowledge of commercial real estate site design

Responsibilities

• Create land development plans for commercial, institutional, and residential clients from concept through construction.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and local government officials to guide projects through regulatory review and bidding.
• Participate in design phases, prepare grading, stormwater, utilities, and water quality features.
• Contribute to project teams to deliver high-quality designs on schedule and within budget.
