Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers in Austin seeks an Engineering - Civil Engineer/Project Manager with 5-8 years' experience to lead site development and infrastructure projects. The role blends engineering analysis with client coordination and mentorship in a collaborative environment.

Candidates must hold a B.S. degree or higher, a Texas PE license, and sustainable design experience (LEED/LID), with site visits, clear communication, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in site development, plus engineering, project management, and planning.
• B.S. degree or higher, Texas P.E. license, and five+ years of experience; sustainable design (LID/LEED) goals and ability to prepare SUSMPs, SWPPPs and WQMPs.
• Ability to visit job sites to inspect existing conditions and envision potential scope of work.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods at a desk working on a computer and viewing a screen.
• Ability to apply established engineering principles to solve problems with sound judgement and independent decision making.
• Strong focus on client satisfaction, high-level communication and interpersonal skills, and staff development in a cooperative team environment.
