Job summary

Jobot in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer with a PE license to design and permit site development projects, including grading, drainage, erosion control, and stormwater systems. You will coordinate with project managers, prepare reports, and secure construction permits.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, AutoCAD Civil 3D experience, strong writing skills, and is comfortable coordinating with regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office required; Hydraflow, Hydrograph, and WaterCad preferred.
• Strong communication and writing skills.
• Experience with design of land development projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and permitting of construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, erosion control, stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump station and force main design.
• Provide technical and design services in support of civil engineering projects reporting directly to their project manager.
• Communicate and coordinate technical evaluations and designs, produce reports in technical writing format, and correspond with other team members to complete work in a timely and efficient manner.
• Coordinate project submittals, facilitate regulatory agency approvals, and obtain construction permits.
