Job Description

***Only qualified Civil Engineer candidates located near the Chester, VA area will be considered due to the position requiring onsite presence***

Required Education:

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Basic knowledge of engineering theories and principles
• Strong oral and written communication skills (including technical writing)
• Ability to think analytically and solve complex problems
• Ability to interpret codes, regulations, and practices
• Effective working independently or in a team environment
• Ability to process information quickly and manage multiple tasks
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Obtain the client’s Civil Engineering Qualifications
• Collaborate with application-specific engineering team to understand system functions and requirements
• Review and approve Civil Engineering plans developed by vendors
• Understand application requirements driven by design specifications, regulations, and software/hardware, with support from the requirements lead engineer
• Report activity status and communicate effectively with all levels of leadership
