Civil Engineer III

Location: Chester, VA

Contract Duration: 6+ Months

Pay Range: $70 - $90/hr, W2

Job Summary

• Civil construction oversight at Chesterfield and diligence work oversight for other project construction projects.
• Obtain client Civil Engineering Qualifications.
• Collaborate with application-specific engineering teams to understand system functions and requirements.
• Review and approve civil engineering plans developed by equipment vendors.
• Understand application requirements driven by design specifications, regulatory, and hardware/software needs, with support from the requirements lead engineer.
• Report activity status and communicate effectively with all levels of owner/leadership.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Basic knowledge of engineering theories and principles.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, including technical writing.
• Proficiency with personal computers.
• Analytical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
