Job summary

Stantec is seeking a full-time entry level Civil Engineer-in-Training to join our Community Development practice in San Bernardino, Irvine, or Pasadena, California. You will use your technical education to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for civil facilities and assist with project implementation under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or similar accredited degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience preferred.
• EIT preferred or plans to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam in California within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for civil facilities (grading, roadways, drainage, etc.).
• Assist with implementation of facilities on a wide variety of projects (residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, recreational).
• Work under supervision and mentorship of experienced professionals to obtain licensure requirements.
