Our Northeast Engineering Design Organization (EDO) is seeking a Civil Designer to generate design drawings for wastewater/water facilities and horizontal infrastructure projects.

Working with a dynamic team, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing detailed design drawings for grading, site development, utility piping, process piping, and chemical feed systems, including developing alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and details.
• Performing volume and quantity calculations for infrastructure projects such as force mains, sewers, and water pipelines.
• Creating detailed design drawings based on self-directed design and engineering markups, adhering to specifications and design principles.
• Conducting fieldwork, including site surveys, asset assessments, and construction observations as needed.
• Coordinating with architectural, structural, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing teams.
• Managing CAD operations on multidisciplinary projects, including project setup and schedule maintenance.
• Mentoring junior team members and supporting regional training activities.

To qualify, you should have:

• An Associate’s degree in CADD or Civil Engineering Technology; relevant experience or a high school diploma with experience may also be considered.
• 3-8 years of experience in site civil, water & wastewater, stormwater, or erosion & sediment control design.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3D; experience with Revit, Civil HydroCAD, and TR-55 is a plus.
• Understanding of survey fundamentals.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
