Job Title: Civil Design Engineer / Water Treatment Projects

Location: Columbus, OH

Salary Range: $80K - $125K
Position: Permanent with Benefits

Growing engineering firm in Columbus, Ohio is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to design water treatment plants, water distribution systems, booster pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, and storm water systems.

Responsibilities

1. Plan and design civil projects related to water and wastewater treatment, storm water, and pumping stations.
2. Conduct research, site data collection, and site reviews to identify potential opportunities.
3. Develop schematics and master plans for permitting, grant approval, funding, and construction.
4. Calculate cost estimates and prepare related documentation.
5. Review and check detail and layout drawings.

Minimum Requirements

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
• Hands-on civil project design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D
• Ability to work on water treatment, retention, storm water, wastewater, and pumping station projects
• Pass criminal background check and 10-panel drug screen
• U.S. citizenship or Green Card work permit required
