Bohler's Philadelphia office is seeking a Design Engineer to grow within a collaborative team, supporting site design projects from concept to completion, and delivering practical, buildable solutions for residential, commercial, and industrial projects in the Philadelphia metro area. The role requires a civil engineering degree, 2+ years of site design experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of site design experience across residential and/or commercial or industrial projects.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic engineering design principles.
• Attention to detail and curiosity to learn new tools and methods.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management plans
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and support due diligence investigations
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver coordinated design packages
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help solve engineering challenges
