Twin Falls County Prosecuting Attorney seeks a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the Civil Division. This full-time attorney handles civil cases, provides legal advice to county officials, and manages contracts and zoning matters with independence and initiative.

Responsibilities include prosecuting child protection and forfeiture cases, reviewing agreements, and representing the County in probate and federal matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Juris Doctorate from ABA‑accredited law school.
• License to practice law in the State of Idaho.
• Three or more years of relevant experience.
• Eligibility for membership in the Idaho Prosecuting Attorney’s Association.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute civil cases including child protection and forfeiture matters.
• Provide legal advice to county officials on employment, contracts, and planning matters.
• Represent the County in probate, tax appeal hearings, and related actions.
• Draft contracts, memorandums, pleadings, and county ordinances.
• Interact with law enforcement, officials, and the public professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality in all cases and comply with professional conduct rules.
