Twin Falls County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is seeking a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney to prosecute a range of misdemeanor and felony cases, independently with supervisory support as needed. The role demands courtroom skills, strategic case preparation, and collaboration with law enforcement and staff.

Successful candidates will possess a JD from an ABA-accredited school, Idaho bar licensure, and a commitment to public service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school, licensed to practice in Idaho.
• Active bar membership and eligibility for Idaho Prosecuting Attorneys Association.
• Must pass background check including fingerprints and maintain good standing.

Responsibilities

• Represent the State in criminal cases in court and in motions.
• Prepare evidence, negotiate, and present trial strategy to judges and juries.
• Direct staff in pleadings, forms, and legal documents and ensure timely filings.
• Protect rights of victims and defendants while upholding ethical duties.
• Provide training to law enforcement and court personnel as needed.
• Conduct legal research and analyze precedents for case strategy.
• Interact with multiple stakeholders to ensure effective office operations.
