Job summary

Collaboration with the judiciary and county officials is essential. Admitted to the Idaho State Bar and graduation from an accredited law school are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited law school and Idaho State Bar membership.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Knowledge of state statutes, case law, and rules of civil procedure.
• Knowledge of state professional rules of ethics.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, co-workers and officials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage civil litigation caseload from inception through appellate stages.
• Draft contracts, ordinances, and other legal documents as needed.
• Conduct legal research and prepare findings of fact and conclusions of law.
• Provide advisory services on civil and transactional matters to clients.
• Negotiate and prepare contracts and real estate documents.
• Supervise Deputy Prosecutor I on various projects and cases.
