Job summary

The Iowa Judicial Branch seeks applicants for two Judicial Operations Clerk - Civil positions in Polk County to perform data entry and customer service for efficient court operations and records integrity.

The role requires handling a high volume of case documents, assisting court users in person and by phone, and supporting attorneys, judges, and agencies. Occasional travel within the judicial district may occur.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of full-time professional office experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by responding to inquiries from the public, attorneys, and court staff.
• Assist court users with resources, equipment, and services.
• Perform routine court operations paper and electronic documentation tasks and filing.
• Review, process, update, and publish information and documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform basic bookkeeping and cashier duties.
• Assist courtroom preparations, including electronics setup and digital recording software.
• Provide general office support and maintain organization and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.
