Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is seeking an experienced Survey Manager for their Pensacola operations. The role oversees construction surveying, layout, field operations, GPS modeling, and supervision of the survey crew.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in heavy civil surveying, a preference for a Land Surveyor License, and proficiency with Trimble equipment, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation. Florida driver’s license required and weekend availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of heavy civil construction surveying experience.
• Land Surveyor License preferred.
• Proficiency with Trimble equipment/software, GPS rovers, CADD software; AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction surveying and layout activities, including field operations and stakeout.
• Supervise survey crew members on topographic, boundary, construction, and utility surveys.
• Prepare 3D models and layout files for various surveying applications.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
