Position

Civil Construction Supervisor

Location: Holland, MN

Overview

We are looking for a Civil Construction Supervisor to serve as the Owner's on-site civil lead for a large-scale combustion turbine project. You will oversee and verify all civil and underground utility construction activities to ensure agreement on Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and verify civil construction activities including mass concrete, foundations, excavation, rebar, and underground utilities, ensuring full compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Enforce quality and inspection processes by managing ITPs, witnessing key construction and testing activities (concrete, soils, utilities), coordinating with contractors and third-party inspectors, and maintaining accurate documentation for turnover.
• Resolve issues by tracking non-conformances, escalating risks, ensuring corrective actions, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards (including SWPPP).

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in heavy civil, industrial, or energy construction.
• Hands-on experience with mass concrete, foundations, and underground utility installation.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
• Understanding of QA/QC processes, inspection programs, and construction sequencing.
• Ability to collaborate across contractors, engineers, and project teams while maintaining a focus on compliance.

Base salary range: $63.00/hour to $68.00/hour (dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills).
