Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking an Experienced Civil CAD Technician to join our Land Development team in Bryan-College Station, TX. You will design and produce plans for diverse land development projects, applying AutoCAD drafting standards and coordinating with teams to meet schedules.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley products, and a collaborative, self-driven work approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant Civil CAD experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley products.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and teamwork.
• Independent worker with a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce sets of plans for land development projects.
• Implement and manage AutoCAD drafting standards.
• Develop technical drawings and plans using CAD software.
• Quality check drawings of substantial complexity; perform some calculations.
• Supervise and train CAD staff as needed.
• Coordinate work to maintain schedules and ensure quality control.
• Familiarize with Kimley-Horn’s practices and standards.
