Job summary

Shine BrightX LLC is seeking a student intern in civil/architectural/environmental engineering who will assist in CAD drafting, calculations, and preparing technical docs. This role supports licensed engineers and aims to develop drafting and reporting skills.

Applicants should be studying for a Bachelor’s degree and have experience with CAD and MS Office, plus strong communication and detail orientation. The role offers an hourly compensation and full-time benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with computer aided drafting and Microsoft Office products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD programs to assist in the preparation of plan drawings and details.
• Perform calculations under the direction of a licensed engineer.
• Assist with preparation of technical specifications and reports.
• Prepare due diligence searches and permit applications.
• Perform material quantity take-offs.
• Assist project teams in meeting deadlines as needed
