Job summary

EXP is seeking a Site Civil Intern to support the Site Civil team. The role involves learning diversified civil engineering tasks under supervision, focusing on development projects including water, sewer, grading, drainage, site planning, and environmental protection.

You'll design future projects with CAD tools, perform calculations, and help prepare specifications, reports, and permit applications while collaborating with engineers and other professionals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, or Environmental Engineering.
• Experience with CAD and Microsoft Office preferred.
• Punctuality and ability to work with minimal direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAD programs to assist in preparing plan drawings and details.
• Perform calculations under supervision of licensed engineer.
• Assist with preparation of specifications and reports.
• Prepare due diligence searches and permit applications.
• Assist project teams in meeting deadlines.
