Job summary

Giga Energy seeks a BIM Modeler, Civil (Outdoor & Underground) to own foundations, equipment pads, duct banks, and grounding on data center campuses. Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, you will translate Civil 3D data into the federated model and coordinate across disciplines.

You will build outdoor/underground content, coordinate with EPC Leads, and ensure clashes are resolved before pours. Role is in-office with on-site expectations in Houston, SF, or Long Beach, with exceptions for exceptional

Qualifications

• 5+ years modeling foundations, outdoor structures, and underground services for industrial or energy projects.
• Expert-level Autodesk Revit, including family creation and worksharing.
• Strong AutoCAD fluency; move work between AutoCAD and Revit accurately.
• Experience modeling underground electrical raceway or duct banks and foundations.
• Read, link, and reconcile Civil 3D data into a Revit model.
• Working knowledge of NEC Article 300.5, NESC/IEEE 605, IEEE 80, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and AISC 360.
• Navisworks proficiency for clash tests and in-model resolution.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Model foundations, equipment pads, embeds, and anchor bolt layouts for heavy equipment.
• Verify anchor bolt and stub-up locations against equipment GA drawings.
• Model electrical duct banks and underground raceways with proper encasement and spacing.
• Model grounding systems and outdoor structures, ensuring correct clearances.
• Incorporate Civil 3D surfaces, pipe networks, and survey points into Revit.
• Convert AutoCAD site drawings to native Revit geometry and maintain sync.
• Run underground clash cycles in Navisworks and resolve conflicts.
• Build and maintain a parametric Revit family library for outdoor/underground content.
