Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Survey Technician in Cary, NC to support field crews and project managers. You will process field data, draft topographic maps, and review boundary records to deliver precise survey deliverables for civil and structural projects.

The role requires 2+ years of AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience and proficiency in English, with LASER/LIDAR experience considered a plus. Opportunities include growth within a multidisciplinary team and in-house training.

Qualifications

• Experience in Survey/Civil profession required.
• 2+ years of AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience.
• LASER Scanning/LIDAR experience a plus.
• Proficient reading, writing and understanding of English for job communications.

Responsibilities

• Perform selected drafting assignments accurately and quickly.
• Transform field data into Autodesk Civil 3D CAD drawings.
• Produce ALTA, Boundary, Topographic Surveys and As-Built drawings.
• Reduce field notes into survey/civil base maps.
