Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Drafting Technician for our Tampa, FL Survey/Geospatial team. You will transform field data into CAD drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D or MicroStation, and produce ALTA, boundary, and topographic surveys along with as-built drawings and subdivision plats.

Strong English skills are required. This on-site role offers opportunities to contribute to multi-disciplinary projects, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and data interpretation across air, ground,

Qualifications

• Experience in Survey/Civil profession required.
• 2+ years of experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
• LASER Scanning/LIDAR/TopoDOT experience is a plus.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for job communications and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform drafting assignments quickly and accurately.
• Transform field data into Autodesk Civil 3D (CAD) and/or MicroStation drawings.
• Produce ALTA, Boundary, Topographic Surveys, As-Built drawings, maps, and subdivision plats.
• Reduce field notes into survey/civil base maps.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing selected drafting assignments, quickly and accurately.
• Transform field collected electronic files into Autodesk Civil 3D (CAD) and/or MicroStation produced drawings.
• Produces ALTA, Boundary, Topographic Surveys, As-Built drawings, maps, Specific Purpose Surveys, Plot plans and Subdivision Record Plats.by using Autodesk Civil 3D (CAD) and/or MicroStation.
• Reduce field notes from field collected data into survey/civil grade base maps.

Qualifications

• Experience in Survey/Civil profession required.
• Minimum of 2+ Years of experience using AutoCAD/Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
• LASER Scanning/ LIDAR/ TopoDOT experience a plus.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
