Job summary

Baird, Hampton & Brown seeks a full-time Survey CAD Technician in Weatherford, TX to assist the RPLS with boundary and ALTA/NSPS surveys and draft detailed drawings using Civil 3D. You will process field data, prepare boundary/topographic maps, and support civil engineering projects from planning through design.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of survey experience, proficiency with Civil 3D, and ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team. Local travel and in-office work are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as survey technician.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D required.
• Familiarity with Trimble robotic total stations and GPS equipment.
• Ability to drive to project sites and work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare boundary, topographic, easement, ALTA/NSPS survey drawings using Civil 3D.
• Draft subdivision plats and exhibits under RPLS supervision.
• Process field data from total stations, GNSS, and data collectors.
• Review field data for accuracy and discrepancies before drafting.
• Maintain CAD standards and organized project files.
• Coordinate with project managers and field crews to obtain needed information.
• Assist field crews as needed with boundary and staking tasks.
