Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Program Coordinator for the Ackerman Program in Austin, TX. You will support the director, coordinate events and public programming, and manage day-to-day operations with cross-campus partners.

Responsibilities include scheduling, materials, purchases, travel, and communications, plus liaison roles with internal teams. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience are required, with a focus on detail and reliable execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of program coordination experience.
• Experience planning events and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director of the Ackerman Program in administration and coordination.
• Coordinate execution of events, lectures, conferences, and public programming.
• Manage day-to-day program operations and track deliverables.
• Serve as liaison between the Ackerman Program and cross-campus partners.
• Coordinate meetings, materials, and admin support for initiatives.
• Handle purchasing, contracts, travel, reimbursements, and documentation.
• Be primary contact for speakers, invitations, schedules, and logistics.
• Collaborate with Events, Communications, Finance on needs and promotion.
• Maintain event records and post-event follow-up.
• Other duties as assigned.
