Job summary

City of Springfield, TN is seeking an experienced IT Director to oversee the city’s network infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity operations, and technology services. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field and at least seven years of progressively responsible IT experience, including supervisory experience.
CJIS compliance certification within three months of employment preferred.
Valid Tennessee Class D driver's license and ability to pass background and medical checks.

Responsibilities

Plan and oversee citywide IT systems, networks, and enterprise solutions.
Lead daily IT operations including servers, networks, and security devices.
Direct cybersecurity monitoring, vulnerability mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards.
Manage budget planning for operating and capital expenditures.
Coordinate with department heads to implement technology improvements.
