Job summary

Greenbeltmd is seeking a Director of Information Technology responsible for managing the City's information technology and phone systems. You will set policies under the City Manager's direction and supervise all department personnel.

Your role includes designing the city’s network, developing IT budgets, and ensuring alignment with city objectives. Strong leadership and communication skills are vital, along with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and extensive IT experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Extensive progressively responsible related experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License necessary.

Responsibilities

• Design and grow the City’s network and phone system.
• Develop IT budget and provide fiscal direction.
• Lead the implementation of IT vision aligned with City objectives.
• Oversee IT and phone systems' ongoing maintenance.
• Coordinate with departments to assess IT needs.
