Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology/Networking or related field.
• Minimum four years of IT coordination/management experience.
• Leadership, communication and background in business management essential.
• Ability to present information to City Commission and other officials.
• Analytical problem‑solving, detail orientation and strategic thinking.
• Valid Texas driver’s license, ability to pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management to the IT Department.
• Lead strategic technological planning to prioritize initiatives.
• Collaborate with City officials to assess IT needs.
• Oversee development and maintenance of networks, systems, and DR/BC plans.
• Manage IT staff and department budget.
• Oversee vendor interactions, RFPs, bids, and contracts.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and continuous service delivery.
