• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field; 5+ years managing WAN/LAN technicians or network engineers; experience in WAN/LAN design, planning, budgets.

Responsibilities

• Plan, engineer, operate, and support City IT infrastructure (WAN, LANs, data/voice/video, security, data center).
• Oversee end-user desktop/mobile support and Service Desk operations; enforce technology standards.
• Coordinate with City government, schools, and other entities to grow and align IT infrastructure.
• Lead disaster recovery planning and vendor/outsource relationships; prepare reports and present to City Council.
