The City of Olathe seeks an experienced City Engineer to lead engineering services for a fast-growing Kansas City suburb. You will guide a 70-person department responsible for capital projects, construction inspection, stormwater, traffic operations, and critical public infrastructure, delivering safe, efficient services to residents.

Reporting to Infrastructure leadership, you will bring strong civil engineering expertise, collaborative leadership, and a commitment to exceptional public service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of management or supervisory experience.
• Kansas Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within six months.
