City of Northglenn is seeking Maintenance Technician I/II/III to maintain city buildings, facilities and utility systems. Each level adds leadership, planning and diagnostic responsibilities with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Tech I–III duties include equipment operation, preventive maintenance, and coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor. A valid Colorado driver’s license is required and pre-employment screening applies.

Qualificações

• Tech I requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus one year of experience in utility system electro/mechanic work or related field.
• Tech II requires a high school diploma with technical or vocational training in utility system electro/mechanic work and at least two years in skilled trades plus two years in utilities and facilities.
• Tech III requires a high school diploma with five years journeyman experience in skilled trades with familiarity of pumps and electric motors.

Responsabilidades

• Tech I performs semi-skilled welding and maintains and repairs pumps, electrical motors, HVAC and water meters under supervision.
• Tech II plans, coordinates and oversees daily activities of skilled workers in facilities and utilities maintenance, and participates in minor construction of improvements.
• Tech III reviews tasks with supervisor, estimates resources, and participates in major and minor building maintenance projects.
