Job summary

The City of Eugene seeks a collaborative, detail-oriented Citation Program Coordinator to oversee the full lifecycle of parking citations and coordinate the administrative review and appeal process with accuracy.

The role supports Parking Services by working with Municipal Court, managing collections, and providing Tier 2 customer support. The position offers a 9/80 or standard schedule with competitive benefits and potential bilingual pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide Tier 2 customer support to community and internal partners.
• Experience handling administrative review and appeal processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administers the full lifecycle of parking citations from issuance through final resolution, including payment processing, refunds, appeals, collections actions, public records requests, and data entry.
• Manages the Administrative Review process for parking citation appeals and issues written decisions to customers.
• Coordinates with Municipal Court on adjudication outcomes and ensures integration of court decisions into parking systems.
• Oversees parking collections contract, including daily transmission of unpaid citations and reconciliations.
• Maintains accurate records for citations, appeals, collections, and court matters with data integrity and retention compliance.
• Acts as liaison between Parking Services, Municipal Court, collections partners, and internal departments.
• Provides Tier 2 support for escalated inquiries related to citations, appeals, collections, and Municipal Court matters.
• Provides backup support for other Parking Services positions as needed.
• Completes designated tasks and special projects to meet team and City goals.
