SEI is seeking a Specialist II on the CIT Finance team in Oaks, PA to oversee audits, coordinate with fund accounting providers, and drive process improvements for the collective trusts business. You will work with internal teams and external auditors to ensure timely deliverables and adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes risk-based audit design, collaboration across departments, and ongoing professional development within a dynamic financial services environment.

Formación

• BS/BA in accounting, finance, business or related field, or the equivalent in education and work experience.
• CPA, MBA or MS Accounting/Finance or advanced degree desired.
• Minimum of 5 years of fund accounting, operations experience, audit, risk management or compliance experience a plus.
• Knowledge and awareness of applicable laws, rules and standards of Investment Management industry, including GAAP.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of risks and controls in order to independently develop and implement audit programs.
• Experience with alternative investment vehicles is also ideal.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office tools.
• Knowledge of CITs and the regulatory structure governing CITs is desired.
• Self-starter with outstanding decision-making skills.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• Detailed oriented and the ability to work independently or with team members to meet deadlines.
• Regular and reliable attendance in accordance with position, business and/or client needs.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversight of CIT audits.
• Assist with engagement of Big 4 accounting firms to audit the financial statements of SEI's CITs, including Board approval.
• Represent the CIT team on recurring calls involving auditors and stakeholders to oversee each audit cycle and ensure deliverables and release dates are met.
• Coordinate deliverables in connection with audits: management representation letters, auditor inquiries, Fin48 memo, going concern memo, and legal letters.
• Assist with fund liquidation audit process.
• Act as liaison with internal and external fund administrators / accounting providers regarding matters impacting the CIT book of business.
• Help design and institute policies, procedures, and controls.
• Ensure operational errors are escalated and remediated promptly.
• Support and oversight of fees and expenses, including revenue reporting and fee changes.
• Monitor and report on fund accounting provider service levels.
• Facilitate initial and ongoing vendor reviews for approval by Trust Operations Committee.
• Exercise oversight to ensure risk bands for product enhancements are appropriate.
• Support management with projects and initiatives.
• Collaborate to create processes that drive the business forward.
• Participate in IMS/corporate development sessions to grow capabilities.
