Job summary

SEI is seeking a Director-level leader for its Investment Manager Services Division in Oaks, PA. The role oversees premium accounting services for hedge and private equity funds, driving client satisfaction and operational efficiency across fund accounting, shareholder reporting and administration.

You will direct cross-functional teams, set policies, mentor staff, and partner with Tax, Legal and external auditors to ensure accurate GAAP reporting and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years proven operations management experience leading multiple teams, or a minimum of 6 years in a public accounting firm with financial services focus.
• CPA preferred.
• Significant direct experience with accounting for mutual funds and other unitized pooled investments.
• Strong knowledge of security trading practices in a back office environment.
• Familiarity with the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
• Experience reviewing fund financial statements and GAAP for investment companies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of premium accounting services to client relationships.
• Lead and manage Fund Accounting, Shareholder Reporting and Administration services.
• Coordinate with Tax, Legal and other SEI teams to improve service quality and efficiency.
• Develop and implement department policies and procedures to align with corporate standards.
• Conduct performance appraisals, staff development and hiring to ensure staffing needs are met.
• Review fund financial statements and regulatory filings; monitor audits and KPIs.
