Job summary

Veta Virtual is seeking a CISO/VP Data Security for a high growth fintech/cryptocurrency client. This is a senior, strategic leadership role with responsibility for the entire cybersecurity program, regulatory readiness, and incident response, reporting to executive leadership.

The ideal candidate will own risk management across vendors, policies, and controls, collaborate with operations, DevOps, and regulators, and guide technology decisions with a security lens.

Qualifications

• Own and oversee the company’s cybersecurity program end-to-end.
• Ensure regulatory readiness across multiple jurisdictions and industries.
• Lead incident response, risk management, and vendor risk programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cybersecurity across the organization in line with laws and best practices.
• Decide controls and security architecture aligned to threat environment.
• Interact with regulators during audits and ongoing engagements.
• Review and approve cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Document threats, vulnerabilities, and security controls across systems.
