Job summary

Verily is seeking a security leader to set strategy and drive risk-aware security across external products and internal systems. You will recruit and mentor a world-class security team, and champion AI-driven security tools and automation in collaboration with engineering.

Lead governance, risk, and compliance initiatives while partnering with leadership across Engineering, Product, Clinical, Regulatory, IT, Legal, Finance, and Commercial, and engage with customers and industry partners.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Security, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Set security strategy and roadmap for external products and internal systems.
Recruit top security talent and build/lead an excellent team of technical security professionals.
Drive scaling and adoption of AI-driven security tools and automation with engineering to enhance security and data privacy.
Collaborate with Verily Leadership and cross-functional teams (Engineering, Product, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, IT, Legal, Finance, Commercial).
Engage externally with key customers, security organizations, and industry colleagues.
