Job summary

Ardent Health is seeking a Network Engineer (Telecom) to design, implement, and maintain Cisco collaboration solutions across our New Jersey footprint. You will handle CUCM, Unity, UCCX, Webex, CMS, and Expressway, ensuring secure, high-quality voice and video services for staff and partners.

The role requires 3+ years in voice or telecom systems support, strong networking knowledge (SIP, QoS), and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues while collaborating with IT teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; additional years may substitute for education.
• 3+ years of experience in voice or telecom systems support.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco collaboration solutions in enterprise environments.
• In-depth knowledge of CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX, Webex, CMS, Expressway, and related products.
• Strong understanding of IP networking, SIP, H.323, VoIP, QoS, and related technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design Cisco collaboration solutions based on business requirements (CUCM, Unity Connection, UCCX, Webex, CMS, Expressway).
• Implement and configure Cisco collaboration solutions according to best practices; deploy hardware and configure software.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for voice, video, messaging, and other collaboration services.
• Monitor system performance and scalability; analyze capacity and utilization.
• Maintain security measures to protect systems and data from threats.
• Create and maintain design documents, configuration guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Stay current with product updates and industry trends.
