Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in CS, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of three years of professional experience in cybersecurity, networking, systems administration, or IT support.
• Prior teaching experience in a secondary or post-secondary education setting.
• Commitment to student success, inclusive teaching practices, and continuous learning.
• Experience with online teaching, instructional design, and learning management systems.

Responsibilities

• Teach a range of CIS courses, includingCybersecurity, Networking, Operating Systems, Microsoft Office, Cisco, IT Support, and foundational programming.
• Develop and deliver engaging, student-centered instruction in both online and in-person formats.
• Teach and develop at least one section of CIS 1050 Personal Computer Productivity Tools.
• Create course materials, labs, assessments, and hands-on learning experiences aligned with OCC and industry standards.
• Mentor students pursuing cybersecurity careers and participate in advisory boards and program assessment.
• Collaborate with OCC faculty across campuses to strengthen articulation agreements and degree programs.
• Provide professional development support for students in Cybersecurity and IT Support programs.
