Job summary

The Rolling Meadows Library is seeking a Circulation Associate to support daily circulation operations and help create a welcoming environment for patrons. The role also acts as the Library’s Volunteer Coordinator, connecting volunteers with meaningful opportunities throughout the Library.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, supporting circulation operations, coordinating volunteers, and collaborating across departments on special projects and events.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and/or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience coordinating volunteers, interns, or student workers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service at checkouts, renewals, and account questions.
• Support circulation operations by organizing materials and managing the Library of Things.
• Coordinate volunteers, conduct interviews and orientations, and maintain records.
• Collaborate with departments and support special library projects and events.
