Lockheed Martin is seeking a Circuit Card Design Engineer for the Hardware Engineering team (MFC) in Dallas, TX. You will lead electrical architecture, oversee design development, and drive the product life cycle from concept through qualification for precision aerospace hardware.

You will collaborate with production, program, and cross-functional teams to ensure on-schedule hardware delivery, manage risks, and support production readiness while upholding safety and mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of professional experience in circuit card design, integration, and test.
• Experience with schematic capture using Siemens Xpedition or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Architecture for a missile system.
• Oversee full product life cycle: design development, milestone reviews, SDRL concurrence, FAT, DVT, and MIL-STD environmental quals.
• Coordinate Functional & Physical Configuration Audits and Production Readiness events.
• Report risks to Program Manager and Chief Engineer; liaison to resolve supplier issues.
• Partner with government counterparts as Lockheed Martin’s subsystem representative.

Standard Job Description

You will be the Circuit Card Design Engineer for the Hardware Engineering team at Lockheed MartinMissiles and FireControl (MFC).Our team designs, develops and fields precision engagement aerospace and defense systems, delivering high reliability circuit card assemblies (CCAs) that power missiles, sensors and other mission critical subsystems. The specific missile system you will be working on will require your technical oversight on processing requirements, platform power conversion and filtering, and thermal battery applications.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Circuit Design Engineer you will lead technical excellence for an Electrical Engineering team, drive those tasks to successful completion, and keep stakeholders fully informed of progress and issues. You’ll work closely with production, program, and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, on‑schedule hardware.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading Electrical Architecture for a missile system to be launched from containirized launchers.
• Oversee full product life cycle: design development, milestone reviews, SDRL concurrence, Functional Acceptance Test, Design Verification Test (DVT), and environmental qualification (MIL-STD-1901, MIL-STD-464).
• Coordinate Functional & Physical Configuration Audits and Production Readiness events.
• Report risks/concerns to Program Manager and Chief Engineer; act as liaison to resolve supplier issues.
• Partner with government counterparts as Lockheed Martin’s subsystem representative.
• Drive innovative, affordable, schedule focused solutions while upholding mission and safety requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of eight years of professional experience
• Experience with circuit card design, integration,and test
• Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise or equivalent for schematic capture
• Experience with Cadence Pspice or equivalent for circuit simulation and analysis

Desired Skills

• Experienced with MFC Circuit card design processes
• Experience with MIL-STD-1901 & MIL-STD-1901A
• Experience with developing electrical system and/or subsystem architectures
• Experience with leading teams
• Experienced leading Failure review activities
• Strong risk management skills and experience
• Experienced working in a production environment and troubleshooting CCA hardware.
• Proven background providing production line support, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Strong hands on skills and use of oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers, network analyzers, power suppliers & automated test equipment
• Experienced dispositioning non-conforming hardware (Material Review Board)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $148300.00 - $275500.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
